XRP on Wall Street: Evernorth Reveals a Huge RLUSD-XRP Link
The report from Evernorth comes amid heated debates online abou the role of XRP.

Brief
Evernorth, a Nasdaq-listed firm that holds XRP as a treasury, has published a document examining the XRP Ledger's move toward tokenized assets. The report addresses a dispute on social media, where some XRP community members argue that Ripple's management has done little to lift the token's valuation. Evernorth's position is that growth in RLUSD does not come at XRP's cost. It notes that roughly $400 billion of real-world assets and close to $300 billion of dollar stablecoins exist as tokens, yet only about $39 billion is usable for trading, settlement or collateral on those networks. Tokenized value on the XRPL grew between February, when it stood at $1.76 billion, and October 20, when it topped $5 billion, placing the ledger sixth among all networks. Evernorth also reported that RLUSD worth $1.65 billion changed hands on the native exchange this year, with 92% of those swaps paired against XRP.
Why it matters: The findings bear on whether dollar token activity on the XRP Ledger competes with XRP, a central point in the current debate among holders.
