Spiko Reports $2.38B in SAFO as Tokenized Cash Funds Reach Business Treasuries
Spiko’s October update puts SAFO at $2.38 billion. The more useful question is how tokenized shares fit companies’ everyday cash needs.

Dextape brief
Spiko has put the Spiko Amundi Overnight Swap Fund, or SAFO, at $2.38 billion, using figures dated October 23 and released in an October 29 issuer announcement. That release also highlighted a ranking of SAFO against other tokenized funds. The article stresses that SAFO is a fund, not a bank deposit, so holders own shares governed by its prospectus and key information documents. Returns come from an investment setup built on securities and swap contracts aimed at an overnight rate plus a spread, while the token only records ownership. The issuer says much of SAFO's record-keeping sits on Stellar, which shows where shares are represented, not a matching cash holding in Stellar's native asset. Redemption timing, cutoffs and withdrawal limits are the terms that decide whether it fits.
Why it matters: It shows tokenized fund shares drawing sizable balances, and redemption terms, not the token layer, determine whether such products suit business cash needs.
