Strategy CFO Abruptly Resigns: Is This a Red Flag for MSTR?
A popular bitcoin commentator referenced previous CFO departures as the initial signal of a major crisis - will history repeat?

Dextape brief
Strategy disclosed that CFO Andrew Kang will step down effective November 5, days after telling the company on October 26. Kratter, a bitcoin commentator, flagged the short notice as a possible warning sign and cited Enron, WorldCom and Lehman Brothers.
The company says the exit reflects personal reasons, not any disagreement over operations, policies or practices, and Kang will serve as a non-executive adviser through year end. CEO Phong Le will act as principal financial officer in the interim, while Reza Virasteh takes over as CFO on January 1, 2027. The report describes the ten-day gap between notice and exit as unusually brief. Strategy also reported third-quarter operating income of $20.91 billion, largely from bitcoin gains. On October 25 its bitcoin stash stood at 848,517 units.
Why it matters: It matters because an abrupt finance-chief exit at the largest corporate bitcoin holder puts attention on how the company manages its treasury and capital structure.
